Laura Spiegel is the founding principal of Becerra Elementary, leading the Bulls. She began her educational career in Lamar CISD 13 years ago. Mrs. Spiegel served as a kindergarten teacher, 5th-grade teacher, literacy coach, and assistant principal. She earned her bachelor's degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and her master's degree in educational leadership from Lamar University. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their three boys, making fun memories together. For Mrs. Spiegel, education is more than a profession—it is a calling. She is inspired each day by the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of her students.
